St. Samuel Temple's Youth Department is comprised of all youth up to the age of 30. Christian education is provided to the following groups:
Cradle Roll (ages 1-4 ) Sunshine Band (ages 5-0) Purity (ages 10-17) and Young Adult (ages 18-29).
Each group receives spiritual enlightenment using godly principles extracted from God's Holy Bible. It is these principles, if applied that cause our youth to become productive citizens in every manner.
The Youth Department also has a music ministry and various programs throughout the year including their Annual Weekend in June.
The Youth Department is responsible for publishing the Church Newsletter "Flourish". The newsletter is published quarterly now including articles from our youth and other members concerning recent events, poems/writings, featured family, or member of the month and a note from our editor.
Our youth sponsors are Minister Carlos Patterson, Jr., who also serves as the District Youth President. Sister Cydne Peterson and Missionary Barbara Redd.
