St. Samuel Temple's Youth Department is comprised of all youth up to the age of 30. Christian education is provided to the following groups:
Cradle Roll (ages 1-4 ) Sunshine Band (ages 5-12) Purity (ages 13-17) and Young Adult (ages 18-29).
Each group receives spiritual enlightenment using godly
principles extracted from God's Holy Bible. It is these principles, if applied that cause our youth to become productive citizens in every manner.
The Youth Department also has a music ministry and various programs throughout the year including their Annual Weekend in June.
The Youth Department is responsible for publishing the Church Newsletter "Flourish". The newsletter will be published monthly beginning with the January Edition. The newsletter will include articles from our youth concerning recent events, poems/writings, featured family, or member of the month and a note from our editor. Stay tuned for our January Newsletter to be released the first week of February.
Our youth workers are Minister Carlos Patterson, Jr., who also serves as the District Youth President. Sister Cydne Peterson and Missionary Barbara Redd.
